ABOUT ROSWELL
'A duo whose voices combine to create a seamless flow of rich, harmonic beauty' ~ Americana UK
We are Zoë Wren and Jasmine Watkiss, two harmony-obsessed multi-instrumentalists who formed Folk-Americana duo Roswell after an impromptu open mic night in Cambridgeshire in 2018. Within a few months, we had won Purbeck Rising 2018 and released our debut EP ‘Remedy’, which won Fatea's EP of the Year 2019.
We have supported incredible musicians from Catherine McGrath to Dea Matrona, and toured around the UK as well as Germany and the South of France. We have also played main stage shows at festivals including Costa Festival Ibiza, Purbeck Valley Folk Festival and Fête de la Musique in Geneva, as well as showcasing at music industry conference MiCannes.
Our second EP, ‘Come Home’, was produced by Dan Wilde and released in February 2020, with a tour including sold-out shows at the Green Note in London, The Stables in Milton Keynes and The Shelley Theatre in Bournemouth.
In 2023, we are currently writing and recording our debut album, with plans to release at the end of the year. Watch this space!
